Your upcoming tasks will be varied and include administrative duties such as writing medical records, booking appointments, handling tele-Q and 1177 calls, as well as mail handling. Reception duties may also be required as needed.

About You

You are educated as a Medical Secretary, Physician's Secretary, or Healthcare Administrator. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and IT skills, preferably with experience of Cosmic and disease classification.

You have a positive attitude, personal maturity, and a willingness to collaborate to create the best results for patients. You are service-oriented and self-reliant, taking responsibility and structuring your tasks effectively. Great emphasis is placed on flexibility, the ability to switch between independent work and teamwork, and engagement in continuous improvement of the operations.

Your Future Workplace

The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic consists of the ENT Outpatient Clinic, the Hearing Clinic, the Pediatric Hearing Clinic, and the Speech Therapy Clinic. We are approximately 60 employees working with the patient at the center. Our team includes audiologists, ENT physicians, audiologists, hearing educators, special educators, sign language teachers, hearing care technicians, speech therapists, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. The specialty treats congenital and acquired diseases and injuries, covering both acute and non-acute conditions in patient groups of all ages. Our primary catchment area covers approximately 140,000 inhabitants in the southern part of Kalmar County. We have outpatient activities in modern and well-equipped facilities, own inpatient beds on a joint ward, and operating resources at the central operation.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. It is an acute hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and neonatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's inhabitants.
