The Children's Unit consists of 14 social secretaries, two group leaders, and a unit manager – all with a common focus on meeting the district's children and their families in the investigation work and in follow-up of decided measures. We are now expanding with one additional colleague to the unit. Our mission is to create an accessible and knowledge-based social services that starts from the residents' needs. To be able to work closer to our clients and build long-term trust, we continuously develop our working methods and approaches. Now we are looking for a new colleague to our dedicated team!

What we offer

Our values and vision are the focus of our work and aim to meet new demands and needs with a focus on a common direction and improved quality for the client. Within the area, there are two transition social workers who support in daily work and contribute to developing new ways of working, as well as two method developers who contribute with introduction and development in the work. You have access to trust-based and close leadership as well as external supervision. During the autumn, we plan an educational initiative at the Children's Unit regarding Signs of Safety with the aim of providing support in practical application and documentation.

Your role

The role includes among other things:

• Investigations according to SoL and LVU
• Follow-up of decided measures

Collaborate internally and externally, for example with schools, preschools, Child Health Centers (BVC), and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

We continuously work on developing our methods to offer professional support and create lasting change. You will become part of a team that together is responsible for the entire process from investigation to follow-up. We are always two colleagues in a case – a main case worker and a co-case worker.

Your competence and experience

For this position, it is required that you have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work)

We consider it meritorious if you also:

• Have several years of experience in authority-based work within social services
• Have experience in social work with children and young people

We place great importance on personal skills. You are structured in your work and are goal- and result-oriented with a clear focus on creating the best possible conditions for children and families. You have a professional attitude, are relationship-building, and have the ability to build trust and good collaborations with both clients and their networks. We also value that you are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and other partners to achieve common goals.
