Personal Assistant Night with ALS Experience

Your Role

As a personal assistant, you will work with a woman in her 40s who has ALS. She is a social person who loves to laugh and appreciates company. We are looking for an assistant who is observant of her needs and can act independently and take initiative. Communication takes place primarily through a speech tablet and writing. You will work primarily independently while collaborating and becoming part of a wonderful team of assistants.

The tasks vary depending on the client's changing needs, and it is important that you are flexible and can adapt to changes.

The working hours are primarily awake night shifts from 21:00–08:00 or 21:00–10:00. It may also become relevant to work during the day, from 08:00–17:00.

Your Experience

To be considered for the role, we would like you to have:

• Previous experience as a personal assistant or similar experience, with ALS experience being particularly advantageous.
• Good physical fitness, as the work may involve lifting and moving.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the Employment

We are looking for assistants who can start immediately. You are offered a PAN employment (Personal Assistant Employment) and will receive an individualized introduction and training to learn about the client's specific needs and routines. The position is part of a team of assistants working together to provide the client with the best possible support.

Working hours are according to the schedule, primarily awake night shifts.

This employment begins with a PAN employment with the possibility of a fixed-term extension or permanent employment with a probationary period. Read more about PAN employment here.
