Responsibilities

Do you want to work as a school nurse? We are now looking for a new employee for the central student health services. You will be part of the centrally organized student health team, which includes counselors, special education teachers, school nurses, school doctors, and psychologists. Our shared mission is primarily to work preventively and to promote health.

The goal is for all students in the school to feel well, be given good conditions to acquire knowledge, develop, and find joy in learning.

As a school nurse, you will contribute to developing the student health services and the school nursing team. The work as a school nurse should primarily be preventive and health-promoting. Together with the school doctor, you will follow a baseline program approved by the politicians in the medical aspect of student health, which includes health visits and vaccinations, among other things.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse or pediatric nurse. You are flexible and engaged, with an interest in working with children and young people both individually and in groups. We expect you to have good cooperation skills with students, guardians, and other staff inside and outside our operations. A driver's license and access to a car are required.

The Children and Education Committee wants to capitalize on the qualities that a balanced gender distribution, ethnic, and cultural diversity bring to the operations.
