About the role
This vacancy is aimed at you if you are covered by a labor market policy measure.
As a case officer in enforcement, you primarily work with deciding on suitable measures to regulate debts. To prevent people from falling into severe debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities is an important part of your job. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps those who have not been paid and those who need to pay.
You investigate assets, make decisions on suitable enforcement measures of varying scope and complexity. This means you analyze and assess different types of documentation. You request supplements via phone, email, and letter in contact with various parties. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality.
You will undergo internal training for the tasks included in the role, and there will also be supervisors who support you during the onboarding process. You will be part of a section that jointly is responsible for results, planning, and workload distribution.
Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden) contributes to the fight against crime. Your duties include identifying and preventing attempts at criminality, as well as notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a case officer, you might, for example, alert other authorities if a person is receiving benefits on incorrect grounds. This can result in you helping to stop incorrect payments from the welfare system.
The location is Gothenburg.

Your qualifications:
- Final grade from upper secondary education
- 6 months of current experience in administrative work within Enforcement at the Swedish Enforcement Authority
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
In accordance with Section 4 of the Employment Ordinance, we will, in addition to the requirements above, particularly consider that the applicant is covered by a labor market policy measure.

Good to know
The employment is fixed-term. The basis for this fixed-term employment is the Special Terms of Employment for Certain Government Positions (VASA) with the employment conditions of the VASA agreements. You will be employed as a case officer. The Swedish Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work after agreement with the employer.
Working in the government sector means you follow the government's values. There are also specific requirements regarding judgment, security thinking, and adherence to current laws. We ask questions during interviews regarding any previous criminality and deficiencies in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked of reference persons. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Swedish Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. Information obtained is weighed in during the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position.
An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
