Responsibilities
Are you a structured and engaged person driven by creating holistic solutions in complex operations? Do you want to be the hub that ensures our processes run smoothly and that our employees receive the support they need? Then this could be your next challenge!
At the Employment Department, we work together to equip and develop residents to achieve self-sufficiency, primarily through studies or work. Together, we strive for an employment market that is accessible to all, and for those we serve to reach their full potential and take responsibility for their own lives.
In your role as Coordinator at Competence Center East, you contribute to our operations meeting their goals by coordinating, providing methodological guidance, and developing our joint work. You are the link between the unit manager and the employees. Your ability to see the big picture and drive change makes a difference for the resident every day.
In your daily work, you support and lead employment consultants, ensuring that established processes, methods, and routines are followed, and together with the unit, you monitor and develop them. Your work is closely aligned with the unit manager, where you are responsible for identifying needs and driving development issues. Together, you ensure that the unit works based on established processes and towards the operations' goals and mission.
You are responsible for leading method meetings, operational meetings, and case reviews, utilizing your Motivational Interviewing (MI) based approach. You contribute with attentiveness and an engaged attitude in all parts of your work. A large part of your responsibilities involves collaboration with both internal and external parties, where Social Services and the Swedish Public Employment Service are two key partners. Your role also includes planning and facilitating information meetings and collaboration meetings.
As a coordinator, you are part of a leadership forum for the Employment Department, as well as the leadership group for Employment Area 1 and 2, consisting of unit managers and coordinators for our four competence centers.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a university degree of 180 higher education credits (or equivalent) with a behavioral science focus, such as a social work degree or other equivalent education that the employer deems relevant. To succeed in this role, you need at least two years of experience with employment issues and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience in coaching and leading employees is meritorious. You use Motivational Interviewing (MI) as an approach, and experience with IPS (Individual Placement and Support) and SE is meritorious.
As a person, you are structured and plan your work efficiently. You are flexible and see opportunities for improvement and development. You work well with others, are clear in your communication, and view collaboration as a natural part of your work, valuing good cooperation both internally and externally. You have the ability to see your work as part of a larger context and can draw logical conclusions from a holistic perspective. Furthermore, you are stable and secure, able to balance the demands placed on you, and can make well-founded decisions even under time pressure.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
