WORK ASSIGNMENTS
We work with the individual at the center, using a habilitative and pedagogical approach. A respectful and low-affective attitude permeates the entire operation.
The daily operation consists of a small staff group working specifically with two users with intellectual disabilities and autism. The focus is on creating security, structure, and meaningfulness in activities.
We actively work for a good activity balance, which means daily physical activities primarily outdoors in forests and nature, as well as in the local area. Therefore, it is meritorious if you have an interest in outdoor life or experience with nature-supporting activities.
About the Role of Support Pedagogue
As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the users to promote self-determination, participation, and security in their daily activities.
The role also includes:
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work
- Contributing to the development of working methods and approaches
- Ensuring a structured and quality-assured working method
- Implementing evidence-based methods and the intentions of legislation in daily work
You will become an important resource in creating consensus and clarity in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree from University College in Support Pedagogue (200 credits) or alternatively 60 higher education credits in a relevant subject such as behavioral science, pedagogy, or another subject the employer deems equivalent.
- Professional experience with the target group, people with autism, and good knowledge of working preventively to reduce challenging behavior.
- Good knowledge of communication support/AAC as well as experience with change work within the LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
- Category B driver's license is required for the position.
