I am now looking for a personal assistant. I live with MS and have had a stroke, which means I need support, supervision, and help in daily life. With the right support, I live a good and active life, where assistants play an important role in my security, structure, and quality of life.

About the Job

As a personal assistant, you will be close to me as a client during the day and help where needs arise. The work involves, among other things, support with personal care, hygiene, meals, medication routines, exercise, transfers, and daily chores at home.

I enjoy being involved in what I can, for example with simpler household chores, shopping, and activities. I also appreciate conversation, company, games, coffee breaks, watching TV or clips on a tablet, and going out when the weather permits.

An important part of the assignment is to be attentive, present, and responsive. I communicate myself, but sometimes need support to understand situations, remember things, and maintain a balanced level of activity during the day.

At my place, assistants work around the clock.

Who Am I Looking For?

I am looking for you, preferably a woman, who is secure, warm, and responsible. You need to be able to work calmly, methodically, and with respect for the client's self-determination. You also need to have the ability to both encourage and support, while simultaneously sensing when I need rest or when the day needs to be limited so as not to become too strenuous for me.

It is important that you are:

• responsive and engaged
• calm and secure in your interaction
• flexible and solution-oriented

Experience in personal assistance, care, transfers, or similar work is an advantage, but personal suitability is most important to me!
