Personal Assistant for a Girl in Avesta

On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a personal assistant for a 15-year-old girl in Avesta. The client has Dravets syndrome, which includes epilepsy, autism, and a mild intellectual disability. This means she needs someone by her side around the clock.

Your Responsibilities

You will work alone with the client as well as together with existing staff during double assistance for activities. The tasks vary and may include activities such as horse riding, swimming, and other daily routines. Working hours vary between afternoons, weekends, and awake nights.

About You

We are looking for someone who is positive, stable, calm, and playful. It is important that you connect with the client and her family, are empathetic, and respect her privacy. You should be able to make independent decisions, be responsible, easy to work with, and have a good sense of humor. The ability to step back when necessary is also a key trait.

Experience working with children is a requirement. Familiarity with epilepsy or knowledge of using signs/pictures as support in communication is an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued.
