Personal Assistant for an Active Woman (Omtanken Assistans)

Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under the LSS or SFB acts. About the Job

I am a middle-aged woman who loves life. I enjoy eating good food, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am looking for female assistants who meet the following requirements:

  • Non-smoker
  • Valid driver's license
  • Not allergic to fur-bearing animals
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus

The role of a personal assistant is very varied, but regardless of the specific tasks, you will make a valuable difference to the person you work for.

Working Hours

Your working hours will vary based on the client's needs, including day shifts, evening shifts, awake night shifts, and weekend work.

Background Checks

If you are hired to work for our client, you will be required to present an extract from the criminal record register as part of the employment process. There are two different legal requirements depending on whether you will be working with children or adults.

When working with children

Work with children with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2010:479) on background checks of personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities. An extract from the criminal record register must be presented as a final step in the recruitment process before employment can be considered.

When working with the elderly or adults with disabilities

Work in the home of elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2026:43) on background checks when working in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law comes into force on March 1, 2026. In support of this law, our company has a policy to request an extract from the criminal record register upon new employment. The background check is carried out as a final step in the recruitment process and is part of our overall suitability assessment.
