I am a six-year-old boy with a muscle disease and autism. To my team, we are now looking for an assistant who is genuinely interested in working with children and who has a respectful, warm, and secure approach.

My need for assistance primarily concerns physical tasks, which can sometimes be heavy, so we are looking for you who have good physical fitness. I also have extensive phlegm issues, which means it is important that you are attentive, calm, and can handle stressful situations that may occasionally arise in connection with this.

I cannot always tell you myself what I want or need, which is why it is required that you are sensitive, can read my body language, and are willing to get to know me deeply. We learn most things together – just like for everyone else, my needs are individual. Experience from similar work or education as a nursing assistant is meritorious, but the most important thing is the personal chemistry.

For me, it is important that my assistants are happy, have imagination, and take their own initiatives, so that I get a fun, secure, and meaningful everyday life together with people I can trust.

During the day, I go to school for one hour, and my assistants accompany me there. During the winter, teaching takes place at home.

We are looking for you who:

• Have good physical fitness and can help with heavy physical tasks.
• Have experience or are willing to learn about tube feeding, suctioning of phlegm, and use of a cough assist machine.
• Are calm, attentive, and can handle stressful situations.
• Are sensitive and can read body language as I cannot always express my needs verbally.
• Have a warm, respectful, and secure approach.
• Preferably have experience of similar work or education as a nursing assistant, but the most important thing is the personal chemistry.
• Speak and understand the Swedish language well.

The position:

Temporary substitute as needed, which can develop into a permanent position.

The shifts are day, evening, and awake night.
