About the Role

As an accounting economist with us, you are independently responsible for large parts of the daily financial management and work closely with the operations and our unit managers.

The role is broad and varied, suiting you if you thrive with both operational work and developing routines and methods.

The position covers approximately 80% finance. The remaining part of the role is adapted to your profile and may include work with bookings, administration, social media, or other operationally related tasks.

The role includes, among other things:

• Continuous bookkeeping
• Customer and supplier accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Tax account reconciliation
• VAT reporting and VAT reconciliations
• Tax declarations
• Accruals and deferrals
• Depreciation
• Updating fixed asset registers during purchases and sales
• Reconciliation of wage liabilities, holiday pay liabilities, and employer contributions
• Handling of preliminary wage tax and pension costs
• Monthly reporting and reconciliations
• Support to operations in financial routines and processes

You will also be involved in creating and improving financial routines, as well as supporting and training our unit managers to create better financial understanding and financial control in the operations.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 2–3 years of experience in independent work within accounting and continuous bookkeeping
• Has post-secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience
• Is confident in monthly closing and financial reconciliations
• Is structured, detail-oriented, and responsible
• Thrives working independently while also having an easy time collaborating
• Is unpretentious and enjoys working close to the operations

Experience with Fortnox is advantageous.

Experience from the restaurant industry is also a plus.
