The position is within the subject of nursing, which at the University of Skövde is defined as the science that creates knowledge about caring relationships and actions that, based on the patient's life context, promote physical, mental, social, and existential health. Through this, health is seen as something more than the absence of disease and can be related to a person's sense of well-being. The subject's profile emphasizes the ethical patient perspective as part of the value base, where the patient's vulnerability, own perspective on their health situation, own resources, and self-determination are central.

Your Role

Your main tasks will be:

• Teaching at undergraduate and advanced levels.
• Teaching within the Clinical Training Center (CTC).
• Supervising undergraduate degree projects.
• Clinical instructor within work-based education.

Additional tasks may be included in the position.

We are looking for someone who:

• has completed an advanced degree
• is a licensed nurse
• has documented good collaboration skills.

We will also value the following assessment criteria for the employment:

• Shown pedagogical skill based on aspects described in the University of Skövde's employment regulations, Appendix 1.
• The degree of such skill that is a requirement for the qualification.
• Completed university pedagogical education of at least 15 higher education credits or has a certificate of university pedagogical education equivalent to 15 higher education credits or has acquired equivalent knowledge in another way.
• Documented experience of teaching in nursing or a related field.
• Documented good administrative skill.
• Documented good ability to work independently.
• Clinical experience as a school nurse or within Child Health Care (BVC).

For this position, great importance will be attached to clinical experience as a school nurse or within Child Health Care (BVC).

Employment Type: This is a fixed-term position from September 1st until February 28th, 2027.
