We need to strengthen our team working with the administration and implementation of examinations at the department.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the administration and implementation of examinations at the department, acting as a bridge between administration and IT support/development, and ensuring that examinations are conducted in a professional and secure manner. This involves, among other things, planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure there are enough exam invigilators on duty for each individual exam. Late cancellations and sick leave are recurring challenges in the operations. The work takes place within given frameworks but requires you to prioritize, make quick decisions, and find solutions in an ongoing flow. You will become a key person for both students and teachers.
The main tasks include:
- Conducting examinations at the department, both traditional paper-and-pencil exams and digital examinations,
- Leading a team of up to 40 exam invigilators during large hall exams,
- Administering and planning examinations at the department,
- Contributing to the introduction and training of exam invigilators, as well as the development of staffing processes,
- Providing support for both pedagogical and technical development required when introducing digital examinations – both on-site and remotely.
You are expected to plan and perform your tasks independently based on given guidelines, in collaboration with teachers and other staff. The workload varies, and during periods such as the start and end of terms, the workload can be high; therefore, it is important to be able to prioritize during peak times.
Since exams are often held in the evenings and on weekends, you should be able to be on-site in Kista during these times, at least during certain periods.
Other administrative tasks within the unit may occur.
