Treatment Secretary for the Family Team

The Unit for Advice, Support, and Treatment is the social services' executing unit within the individual and family care area. The unit includes various sections such as the Family Team, addiction clinic, MiniMaria clinic, resource team, domestic violence support, personal ombudsman, and support for crime victims. The workplace is in an exciting development phase with the goal of quickly meeting the demands placed on us by clients and society at large.

Job Responsibilities

Your role as a Treatment Secretary will be to provide advice, support, and treatment. Interventions are given to individuals, but family sessions and larger network meetings are also common. The common thread in our mission is to start from the individual's resources and strengthen their own network.

The position is located within the Family Team, which is the social services' outpatient care targeting children, young people, and their families. Support interventions can vary in scope and intensity. You will work in collaboration with internal and external actors to ensure the individual's needs are met. The role includes documentation such as ongoing record keeping, compiling reports, and implementing action plans.

The work is primarily during daytime on weekdays, but work during evenings and weekends may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in behavioral science or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Documented experience in treatment work, primarily with children and young people as well as their parents and networks.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

As a person, you have the ability to create, develop, and maintain good relationships. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions and adapt your behavior to the needs of others, while being comfortable working independently, making your own decisions, and taking responsibility for them. Furthermore, you adapt to changing circumstances and encourage and support change initiatives.
