Experience in initiating research and project collaborations is meritorious.
Pedagogical skill: Pedagogical skill refers to educational and teaching merits. In assessing pedagogical skill, pedagogical quality will be primarily considered. The scope of teaching, both breadth and depth, will also be given significance. Furthermore, the ability to plan, initiate, lead, and develop education and teaching, as well as the ability to link teaching to research, will be given importance. Great weight will be placed on teaching experience, primarily within modern German literary studies and language skills training in German. Since the teaching is also conducted internationally, documented experience in applying various teaching formats is highly meritorious. Experience in distance and/or IT-based teaching is meritorious. Additionally, special weight will be attached to the applicant's prerequisites for contributing to the future development of teaching within the subject area at the department. The pedagogical skill must be well documented so that both scope and quality can be assessed.
Other skills: Administrative skill will be given weight. Administrative skill is demonstrated by the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in an effective and purpose-adapted manner, as well as the ability to set and adhere to timeframes. Experience of collaboration with the surrounding society will be given significance. Proven good teamwork skills are meritorious. All merits must be documented so that both quality and scope can be assessed.
