ABOUT THE POSITION

Do you want to work in a role that truly makes a difference in people's lives? At Bättre Assistans, part of Inre Kraft, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. We are seeking 4 on-call substitutes who wish to work as needed. If the match between you and the client is good, there is also an opportunity for a permanent part-time position between 40-60%.

Working hours vary between day, evening, night, and 24-hour shifts - on weekdays and weekends. Some periods are double-staffed with two assistants.

Examples of working hours include:

• 08:00-18:00
• 18:00-08:00
• 08:00-08:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the client's life by supporting them with everything from daily routines to leisure activities, with the goal that the client, with your support, can live as independently as possible. Since the client has Autism, it is important that you understand the importance of creating a predictable and routine-based daily life, and that you are open to learning to apply low-affective work methods in your job. The client appreciates walks, listening to music, and watching films.

The duties include:

• Support with daily routines, such as household chores
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Guidance and support in everyday life

The client uses communication aids.

To thrive with our client, you should be self-assured, a good team player who works well together with your colleagues. You should be communicative and have a good ability to adjust your activity level to the client. Occasionally, the work involves a lot of quietness before quickly switching to activity requiring supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy working preventively.

Employment Level: On-call substitute as needed, but chance for part-time position 40-60%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
