Visit Pedagogue for Ladan in Backa

Ladan in Backa is looking for a visit pedagogue to join our team.

Ladan is a place where children, young people, families, and visitors meet animals, nature, and activities in a farm environment located in the heart of the district. Here you will find sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, and chickens, as well as meaningful human interactions. Our operations are built on participation, presence, and creating a welcoming space for everyone.

We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with children and young people and enjoys creating activities and encounters in everyday life. The role involves welcoming school classes, groups, and visitors, leading activities, and being an integral part of daily farm life. The work is as much about relationships and interaction as it is about animals and pedagogy.

We believe you enjoy practical work, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and creating safety and inclusion within a group. You must be able to take responsibility, collaborate with others, and feel comfortable leading activities for children and young people.

A background as a social pedagogue or leisure-time pedagogue is preferred, or other education related to children, youth, or social work. Experience in pedagogical work, community life, animal care, or youth activities is a plus. You should have a strong love for animals and be comfortable handling large animals such as cows.

The scope of the position will be planned together based on the needs of the operation. If desired, the position can be combined with temporary assignments for animal caretakers or at our sister organization, Backa Västergård, which is a preschool.
