ABOUT THE POSITION
Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are looking for two people who want to work as personal assistants at 50% and 75% for our client in Gammelstad.
The working hours are as follows:
- 07:00-18:00 (Waiting time 1h)
- 18:00-07:00 (Waiting time 3h)
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is an active man in his late 20s with many different interests, including cycling, inline skating, walking, watching movies, playing computer games, crafting, and swimming. He has autism and an intellectual disability, and needs support in his daily life to be able to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.
Duties:
- Support in daily routines and household chores
- Help with personal hygiene
- Guidance and communication using picture support and other AAC tools (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and have the ability to understand and analyze others' needs. You are a secure, calm, and stable person who can maintain focus even in challenging situations. You are clear in your communication, have a pedagogical and respectful way of setting boundaries, and can meet others with a low-affective approach. Our client also appreciates if you have an active side - it is a big plus if you can ride a tandem bike, inline skate, and ride a scooter together with him.

REQUIREMENTS
- Literate in swimming and tolerant of chlorinated water
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as a personal assistant
- Knowledge and experience working with individuals with autism
Employment level: 2 positions, 50% and 75% respectively.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
