Join our team as the responsible person for measuring instruments, where you will handle complex issues both internally and externally. Here you will lead improvement initiatives within the Tools & Instruments area, ensuring that our processes are efficient and effective. The role also involves updating and maintaining standard documents and technical specifications related to instruments, as well as reviewing documents in PLM2020 to ensure accuracy and compliance. How You Will Make a Difference
- Participate in development projects and monitor Tools & Instruments interests in R&D initiatives to ensure that instruments are deliverable throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and monitor quality requirements, ensuring that the correct maintenance documentation is produced and made available from development to delivery.
- Drive improvement initiatives and cost reduction within the technical and logistical areas.
- Support business development and long-term planning by facilitating the standardization and orderability of equipment.
- Collaborate with users to decide on equipment changes that streamline on-site work, in consultation with the instrument forum NU/FS.
What is Required
- A solid background in instrumentation and experience handling complex technical issues.
- Proven ability to drive improvements and reduce costs within technology or logistics.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various individuals and groups.
- A willingness to mentor new and less experienced colleagues in the instrument field.
- Advanced English proficiency is required to communicate effectively in the workplace.
About the Team
Tools & Instruments (T&I) is part of the Field Service Organization and functions as a Site Support organization. We are responsible for the procurement, maintenance, calibration, and delivery of equipment required for installation, commissioning, service, and measurements of gas turbines and steam turbines globally. T&I is a competence center for the rental of tools and instruments for our Medium Gas Turbines, as well as part of the Steam Turbine and Heat Pump division. The office consists of three departments: Workshop/Logistics, Order Administration/Planning/Technical Support, and Calibration/Instruments. You will be part of the Technical Support team, which currently consists of five employees.
Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines, combined with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for a reduced climate footprint.
