Job Responsibilities
With us, you work close to the users in their home environment and contribute to security, structure, and quality of life. The work consists of two main parts: independent work with individual interventions based on implementation plans, and work in the facility's base apartment. In the base apartment, you are responsible for cooking during opening hours, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting social interaction.
As a Support Pedagogue, you provide support based on the individual's needs, abilities, and interests. You participate in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of interventions with a focus on quality, participation, and continuity. The work is based on a pedagogical and health-promoting approach where clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal approach, and individualized support are central. You build relationships through attentiveness, clear communication, and professional treatment, even in challenging situations.
The role also includes a special responsibility for developing and strengthening the pedagogical work in the facility. You act as a support to colleagues in matters concerning pedagogy, structure, treatment, and method work, and contribute to a common and quality-assured way of working. Part of the position is dedicated to support pedagogical work such as supervision, pedagogical development work, documentation, follow-up, and quality work.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, unit manager, and other professions to ensure that interventions are carried out in accordance with LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), SoL (Social Services Act), and the facility's governing documents.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for you who are trained as a Support Pedagogue and have experience working within LSS facilities. You have a good understanding of the target group and are accustomed to working close to operations with both pedagogical and supportive work.
You have experience with social documentation and are confident working in digital operational systems. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
- Supervision of colleagues in pedagogical working methods
- Low-arousal approach and clarifying pedagogy
- Systematic quality work within LSS
- Work with implementation plans and follow-up in practice
As a person, you are engaged, structured, and have a genuine interest in developing working methods that strengthen the individual's independence and participation. You are confident in your professional role, can work independently, and have good collaboration skills.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
