Svågadalens Preschool is located in Svågagården in Ängebo, approximately 30 km north of Delsbo in Hudiksvall Municipality. The preschool offers a calm and stimulating outdoor environment with excellent conditions for play and creative exploration amidst the forest and agricultural landscape. The operations are characterized by small child groups in a calm and stimulating environment with activities led by engaged and knowledgeable staff. Through the preschool's annual planning, we ensure that children are offered stimulating and imaginative work based on the preschool curriculum and the good conditions available at Svågagården.

Job Responsibilities

As a Preschool Teacher at Svågadalens Preschool, you, together with the rest of the staff, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in accordance with governing documents. The work aims to stimulate each child's development and learning through cooperation, secure relationships, and a good environment. We work systematically with quality assurance based on proven experience grounded in scientific research.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher and/or have experience from working in a preschool. You are engaged, goal-oriented, and confident in leading child groups. You are communicative and have good collaboration skills. You are positive and curious about children's development and learning. The small format means great freedom and excellent opportunities to develop the operations, but also a need for flexibility, trust, and collaboration.

About the Administration

The Svågadal Administration handles municipal services in Svågadal such as preschool, school, elderly care, rural development, as well as culture and leisure. All gathered under the same roof. At Svågagården in Ängebo, young and old meet naturally – as it should be everywhere.
