At the service office in Helsingborg, we are approximately 22 employees belonging to the Helsingborg office area. We work with a service focus, where you and your colleagues share a common responsibility for your tasks and learning. We work actively with continuous improvements, and it is part of the role to contribute to the development of the operations.

Main Responsibilities

As a Service Officer, you provide fast and professional service by answering questions from private individuals and companies. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the joint agencies' e-services and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your approach to the customer, and have a pedagogical attitude.

In your customer meetings, you have support from the various agencies' IT systems. In addition to introduction and training, time is set aside every day to keep you updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations.

You may also be required to work at other service offices within the region, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications

You are driven by providing our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct contact with customers of different backgrounds and abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is quick to learn new knowledge.

We are looking for you who have:

  • A university education of at least 80 credits/120 hp, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
  • Worked for at least two years within the last 5 years in a service profession where you have informed and guided customers in person.

Furthermore, you must have the following skills:

  • Quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner.
  • Identify customer needs by asking questions and listening actively.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish.
  • Communicate verbally in English.
  • Adapt your working method to the varying needs of customers.
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Contribute positively to the work group's results and collaboration.

Furthermore, the following is meritorious:

  • Experience of working with physical customer meetings within one of our partner agencies or another government agency.
  • Previous experience as a Service Officer at Statens servicecenter.

Other

The position is permanent and full-time. We usually apply a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. We do not offer remote work.

This position requires a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned to wartime duties based on the needs of the total defense.
