Primär is a group consisting of Primär Service Management, Primär Fastighetsförvaltning, and Primär Lokalvård. As a group, Primär is large enough to have the resources to deliver to all types of customers, yet small enough to remain customer-centric and flexible throughout Sweden. We are both specialists and generalists – our different business areas are at the forefront in their respective fields – whether it involves office coffee, specialist cleaning, ventilation, or installing coaxial/fiber cables from our technical department. About the Role
As an Economic Manager (Ekonomisk Förvaltare) with us, you are responsible for the economic management of your own portfolio of clients. The role entails overall responsibility for the clients' finances and suits you if you enjoy working independently while maintaining close dialogue with both customers and colleagues.
You work with everything from ongoing bookkeeping and reporting to year-end closing, budgeting, and advisory services. The role requires good structure, attention to detail, and the ability to build trusting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things work with:
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Supplier and customer accounts
- Payments and reconciliations
- Economic reporting and follow-up
- Budgeting
- Fee and payroll administration
- Administration of apartment registers
- VAT reporting
- Year-end closing and annual reports
- Tax declarations (VAT, employer, income tax)
- Customer responsibility and economic advisory
- Ongoing customer contact and follow-up
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in economics and at least two years of experience working independently with all aspects of economic management and accounting.
To succeed in this role, we believe you are structured, responsible, and have a professional and service-oriented approach. You are accustomed to planning and prioritizing your work and thrive in having many contact points and building long-term relationships with customers.
We would appreciate experience with:
- Ongoing accounting and year-end closing
- Budgeting and economic follow-up
- Customer responsibility and advisory
- Office suite, primarily Word and Excel
- Accounting systems such as Fortnox, REAL, and Capego
Experience with economic management for housing cooperatives (bostadsrättsföreningar) and community associations (samfällighetsföreningar) is a merit.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have basic knowledge of English.

The position is a full-time temporary assignment located in Gothenburg at our office in Gårda. The employment period runs from August 2026 to October 2027, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.
