What We Offer

At Nya Rösparksskolan, approximately 400 students from preschool class to grade 4, as well as students in adapted schooling, attend classes. Around 70 staff members work together in four grade-based teams, with the entire operation led by the principal and deputy principal. The student health team, consisting of a school nurse, counselor, special educators, and special needs teachers, is on-site every day. Each team also includes an after-school center.

The facilities are modern and functional, and the schoolyard invites both organized play on swings and multi-purpose courts, as well as adventures among trees and rocky outcrops. Through continuous organized collegial learning, staff members continue their lifelong learning, which in turn contributes to developing the work with children. The school has a high proportion of certified, educated staff, and the operation is characterized by good cooperation.

Your Role

Your primary task as a student assistant is to follow a student who uses sign language in school and at the after-school center throughout the entire school day. You will be part of the team the student belongs to and will collaborate with other educators, the student health team, and maintain close cooperation with the guardians.

You are meticulous and compliant in your professional practice and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and guardians. For this position, personal competencies are highly valued.

Formal Competency Requirements

• The role requires fluent sign language skills.
• You have healthcare education or experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• You have knowledge of or experience from similar roles.
• The employment assumes you have a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Digital identification via Bank ID.

Employment Details

Fixed-term employment at 100% during the academic year 2026/2027, with a start date to be agreed upon.

The student assistant is currently placed at Nya Rösparksskolan within the Culture and Education Administration, which is organized directly under the Culture and Education Committee. The direct supervisor is the principal at Nya Rösparksskolan.
