About the role

We are currently seeking three qualified lawyers for exciting consulting assignments with a government agency in central Gothenburg, starting in June 2026. This assignment is ideal for you who want to work in a varied and socially important operation where you can contribute with qualified legal support in daily work. As a legal consultant, you will work with issues related to public access and confidentiality, as well as provide support to the operation in various legal matters.

The role involves close collaboration with managers and employees and requires both good legal competence and a service-oriented approach.

The assignment is full-time.

Examples of tasks

In the role, the following tasks may include:

• Conducting confidentiality assessments in connection with requests for disclosure of public documents
• Processing appeals against decisions on disclosure
• Handling matters regarding disclosure within private operations
• Processing matters concerning the handling of medical record archives
• Supporting managers and employees in legal matters
• Conducting minor legal investigations within the area
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents
• Following legal developments and providing legal advice within the relevant legal area

Other tasks may occur depending on the needs of the operation.

About you

Competency requirements

• Master of Laws (Jur. Cand.), law degree, or equivalent education
• At least one (1) year of professional experience as a lawyer
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Experience in public operations and work with public access and confidentiality is meritorious.
