Our client is a product company focusing on in-house developed solutions for society-critical operations, where availability, security, and quality are crucial throughout the entire product lifecycle.

This is a direct recruitment, which means you will be employed directly by our client in Danderyd.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you work with the development and further development of Android applications in environments with high demands for security and stability. You are involved in the entire development chain – from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and further development.

You work closely with the client and other stakeholders to understand needs and use cases, while ensuring that the solutions developed are testable, robust, and sustainable over time. The role also includes active participation in technical decisions, architecture questions, and continuous improvement of methods and code base.

Your profile and qualifications

We are looking for you who are an experienced developer with a structured approach and a strong technical interest. You thrive in environments where problems are complex and standard solutions are not always sufficient.

You have a natural ability to analyze, break down, and solve technical challenges, while maintaining a long-term perspective on the solutions you build. Working methodically and with a focus on quality is a natural part of your working style.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Android development, e.g., in Kotlin
• Experience with modern Android frameworks and architectural patterns
• Good understanding of the entire development lifecycle
• Relevant education in computer science, software development, or similar
• Ability to work structured and solution-oriented in complex technical environments
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Merits

• Experience with Android Enterprise
• Experience with network-adjacent Android development, e.g., VPN solutions
• Knowledge of Android Keystore, certificates, PKI, or other secure handling of key material
