The Social Services Department handles regulatory duties and service delivery for target groups including children and youth, individuals with substance abuse issues, individuals with mental health challenges, those in need of financial support, and support for victims of domestic violence. The department is divided into divisions for adults, youth, support and work, and administration. We use a process-oriented approach where collaboration, development, and continuous improvement lead us forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a meaningful summer job where you meet people, contribute to independence, and become an important part of someone's daily life? Then the role of summer substitute in Housing Support within the Social Services Department might be for you. The assignment covers weeks 26-33.

You work together with the individual based on an approved assignment, implementation plan, and individual goals. In practice, this involves supporting the person in creating structure and routines in their daily life, as well as motivating and guiding them in practical tasks. You also assist with planning, contact with authorities, and other societal contacts, while the work aims to strengthen the individual's own resources and promote recovery. An important part is supporting the person in breaking isolation and increasing participation in society.

In your role, you monitor changed needs and contribute to early interventions, collaborating as needed with case workers, healthcare, relatives, and other actors. The assignment also includes documenting according to current legislation and routines, as well as following up on the intervention together with the individual and the responsible case worker.

As a substitute with us, you become part of an engaged team where we work with respect, clarity, and recovery-oriented support. You will receive an introduction and work together with experienced colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in people and social work
• Is secure, sensitive, and responsible
• Works equally well independently and in a team
• Easily builds good relationships and meets people with respect and sensitivity
• Has a few years of work experience and is accustomed to meeting people in vulnerable situations
• Has good documentation skills

Merits:

• Has experience in social work, psychiatry, support work, or similar

The work is primarily during daytime hours, but some evening shifts may occur depending on operational needs.

Employment type: Summer job / Vacation work.
Duration: 3-6 months.
