Job Responsibilities

Within Adult Education Vårgårda/Herrljunga, a one-year (40 weeks) vocational driver training program for aspiring truck drivers is conducted. We are now looking for a new team member.

Together with other teachers, you are responsible for the students' driver training in accordance with current regulations. You prepare, plan, conduct, and evaluate the teaching in a professional manner based on steering documents. The job responsibilities include maintaining close contact with the industry and coordinating the students' practical training (APL).

Qualifications

Adult Education is looking for a vocational teacher within transport, or you who are active within the transport industry but might consider working as a teacher. We see that you have good industry knowledge and substantial professional experience in the field.

We are looking for you who are an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge-builder between school, students, and business life. You have the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented, cooperating and planning with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

• CE driving license qualification
• Experience in organizing driving sessions
• Experience in other development work within the industry
• Good IT skills
• Experience in mentoring others
• Vocational teacher exam is an advantage
