ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our male client outside of Boden. As a personal assistant for our client, you will work in a secure environment where collaboration is the focus.
Scope: 2 permanent positions at 74% and 79% respectively
Working hours: 24-hour shifts 08:00-08:00 (sleeping on-call between 00:00-07:00)
Team: You always work together with a colleague
Start date: By agreement (introduction can start immediately)
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a man in his 40s with autism and intellectual disability (ID). He lives just outside Boden and needs your support to create a meaningful everyday life.
He is a person who appreciates:
Playfulness: Activities that take place on his terms
Relaxation: Massage on back and arms
Joy of food: Meals are one of the highlights of the day
YOUR TASKS
Your focus is to be the client's extended arms and legs, which includes among other things:
Support with daily routines, such as household chores
Help with personal care
Management of self-care medications
Planning and implementation of activities

REQUIREMENTS
Driver's license and access to a personal car (required to commute to and from work)
Non-smoker

Experience with autism and ID
Knowledge of low-affective handling
Previous experience as a personal assistant
Employment percentage: 2 permanent positions at 74% and 79% respectively.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the position. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
