ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Öjebyn. We are currently seeking temporary substitutes.

For our client, you will work weekdays and weekends according to the following hours:

• 12:00-20:00 Mon-Thu + Sat-Sun

• 12:00-16:30 Fri

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a happy and lively four-year-old boy who loves being outdoors - whether it's playing in the forest or exploring playgrounds. And sometimes relaxing with his iPad. He has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and therefore needs help and support in all aspects. He lives with his family in Öjebyn, where both a dog and a cat are part of their lives.

During the day, he attends preschool, and when the preschool day is over - that's when you, as an assistant, step in by being a secure, playful, and engaged part of his afternoon and evening. Together you train, eat, play, and find fun activities both indoors and outdoors, all in a warm and thoughtful environment where joy and curiosity can flourish.

The duties include:

• Support with daily routines, including household chores

• Help with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

• Training and activation

• Medication, tube feeding

The client uses a wheelchair, shower chair, feeding tube, and has oxygen monitoring at night. He will also be using communication aids shortly.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who are positive and still have a child's heart! You need to be comfortable with/enjoy playing with the client. You are patient and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise. It is a great advantage if you enjoy being outdoors, walking, and playing in forests and playgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Tolerance for fur-bearing animals; a dog and cat live in the home

• You are a non-smoker; the client cannot tolerate smoke

• Ability to swim and tolerate chlorinated water

MERITS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience

• Care education or equivalent

• Experience with cerebral palsy and/or epilepsy

Employment level: 1-2 temporary substitutes as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of conduct. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both the certificate of conduct and the suspicion register extract. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
