Do you want to work with advanced marine systems in technically complex projects where quality, verification, and safety are at the center?

We are now looking for several Verification and Acceptance Engineers for a long-term consultancy assignment within the defense and marine sector. The assignment takes place in close collaboration with cross-functional project teams and offers the opportunity to work with advanced system solutions in technology-intensive environments.

In this role, you work closely with acceptance managers, system engineers, and development teams on the verification, testing, and acceptance of complex systems. You will become an important part of the work to further develop the verification and acceptance capabilities within the organization.

We are looking for both you who are experienced in verification and testing, and you who in the long run want to take greater responsibility as an Acceptance Manager.

About the role

As a Verification and Acceptance Engineer, you work with both functional and non-functional verification in complex development and integration projects.

Tasks include, among other things:

• Planning, design, and execution of verification and acceptance tests
• Test design based on requirements and system specifications
• Integration testing, regression testing, and system testing
• Requirements management and traceability
• Bug reporting, analysis, and follow-up
• Collaboration with development teams, system engineers, and project management
• Work in agile project environments

You will work in technically advanced environments where software, system integration, and hardware-related testing are involved.

We are looking for you who have

• Several years of experience in verification, testing, and acceptance
• Experience with functional and non-functional testing
• Knowledge in test design and requirements management
• Experience with tools such as Jira, DOORS, or equivalent
• Experience with integration testing and system testing
• Good understanding of working in complex technical projects
• Very good skills in Swedish and English

Advantageous experience

• Test automation
• Agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Safety-critical systems
• Experience from the defense, marine, railway, or telecom industry
• C#, scripting, or technical troubleshooting
