Nordtag Preschool is located in a nature-friendly area with the forest right at your doorstep. The preschool has a large, beautiful yard with many opportunities for play and learning for all children. We are divided into five home bases, with two child groups in each base across two floors. All meals are prepared on-site in our kitchen, where two chefs and one meal assistant work.

We work extensively with everyone's right to communicate, even if one does not have spoken language, and all child groups have access to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) (e.g., picture support, signs as AAC, drawing conversations, etc.).

As an employee of Kungälv Municipality, you participate continuously in competence development, facilitated by trained learning leaders. Our current focus is implementing clarifying pedagogy in all education and teaching for our children.

At Nordtag Preschool, we work on developing outdoor education with a focus on movement, using clarifying pedagogy as support. We also place great emphasis on a language-promoting work and approach, with read-aloud sessions at the center. We have developed a preschool library to strengthen access to literature, and each home base has a hallway library from which guardians can borrow books to read at home.

Responsibilities

In your role as a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning and conducting education based on the goals of the curriculum. Together with your work team, you will follow up on the education through the systematic quality work established at the unit. We use Unikum as a learning platform, both for internal work and for guardians.

You should be flexible and solution-oriented with an adaptable mindset, keeping the child's best interest in mind, with a good work environment as a priority. An important trait is that you are driven to find new and creative solutions to achieve goals. You should also have a relational approach to children, colleagues, and guardians at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with a few years of experience in the profession. You should be able to take responsibility for planning, conducting, and documenting the education for children and guardians.

You must also have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Personal qualities are given great weight.
