The Family Foster Care Unit is looking for a new colleague! We are looking for you who has a strong child's perspective and wants to help give children and their families the support they need for a secure and stable future. With us, you become part of an engaged and competent team where collaboration and development are in focus. Our unit is located in central Luleå in newly renovated premises. Here, 10 social secretaries, seven family foster care secretaries, one administrator, and one specialist social worker work – all with the same drive: to create better conditions for children and young people.

As a new employee, you will get a mentor, training, and supervision in our methods. We have regular case reviews and method supervision that provide support and room for reflection. We work actively with our work environment and offer a flexible working situation where recovery is valued, along with joint activities such as breakfasts and outdoor days. Competence development is offered through training, networks, internships, and lectures.

You work from 08:00 to 17:00 with the possibility of flex time two hours before or after, to the extent the operations allow. Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for children and young people who are placed in family homes, residential care homes (HVB), Swedish Prison and Probation Service facilities (SiS), and support housing according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young People (LVU). You handle all common issues that may arise in the child's life, follow up on the intervention, and in some placements, collaborate with the responsible family foster care secretary. The work aims for the child to have a good development. The placements and interventions are followed up according to BBIC's life areas. Collaboration occurs both internally and externally and is an important part of the assignment. You collaborate, for example, with other units within social services, outpatient care, as well as schools and other authorities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest and commitment to working with children and young people. Furthermore, you who apply should:

• Have a degree in Social Work (Social Work Exam)
• Have a B driving license

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in social investigation and treatment work with children and young people.
• Experience with placements of children and young people.
• Experience with Signs of Safety.
