Regional Laboratory Medicine belongs to Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Area 4, and has a clear coordination mandate for the entire Region of Västra Götaland. The organization consists of the laboratory medicine activities at Södra Älvsborg Hospital, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Hospitals in the West, and NU Hospital Group.

About the Operations

Within Clinical Microbiology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, we currently have approximately 200 employees. We conduct clinical microbiological diagnostics of bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections and are active in research, education, and teaching. The operations are divided into five units, and we are currently looking for a substitute for our administrative section.

Five people currently work within the section with various tasks related to the operations. Our operations are accredited by Swedac, which places high demands on quality systems, competence, and documentation.

Job Responsibilities

The temporary position involves a role in our administrative section. In the section, we handle customer support as well as orders and responses.

You will mainly work with:

• Support for our internal and external customers via phone
• Administrative tasks specific to the operations
• Archiving
• Handling of samples and test results
• Invoicing

About You

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma. You can work both independently and in a group and contribute to a good atmosphere in the staff group. You are meticulous, structured, and have a high degree of responsibility and service orientation. You have a flexible approach to work and are creative and open to new working methods and tasks, as well as having good communication skills.

The temporary position is for 6 months.
