The Social Services Administration is in the midst of a cultural journey where we are developing the social services of the future together, focusing on quality, collaboration, and the needs of citizens. The Family Department consists of 42 employees and is responsible for the social services' work with children and young people, with the exception of interventions under the LSS Act. We work with legally secure case handling, clear routines, and early interventions to provide children and families with the right support at the right time.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Social Worker within the children's group (0–11 years) or the youth group (12–20 years), you will work in a team consisting of 4 social workers in each group. Your tasks will include investigations, handling reports of concern in incoming cases, and follow-up of decided interventions (with the exception of our placed children, for which placement secretaries are responsible). You will also collaborate closely with investigators in the child/youth group, the reception team, a specialist social worker, family therapists, and the group manager.

We have the opportunity to offer children and their families the support we deem necessary and collaborate well within the administration.

We place great value on legally secure case handling and have documented and easily accessible work routines that are well established in the work group you will be working in. All employees are expected to participate in the department's continuous improvement work. We regularly monitor the work environment to ensure that the workload is reasonable and that well-being is high. Our well-developed administrative support relieves staff in their daily work. You will also have external supervision every third week together with your colleagues in the respective group. All new employees receive a good introduction.

We participate in the Social Services Agency's "Yrkesresan" (Professional Journey). The Professional Journey is a concept for introduction and competence development for social services employees. It was developed through a collaboration between SKR, the Social Services Agency, and Regional Collaboration and Support Structures (RSS).

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work (Socionom).
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good documentation skills.

The following are considered merits:

• Experience in authority execution within child and youth case handling.
• Good knowledge of BBIC.
• Good knowledge of FREDA short questions, iRiSk, and Signs of Safety.
• Good knowledge of ADAD (Current for orientation towards youth investigations).
• Experience with family law issues and working with families who have severe relationship conflicts and where violence occurs.
• Category B driver's license.

Furthermore, you demonstrate good professional treatment, are calm, responsible, clear, and flexible. You have good collaboration skills and remain composed in stressful situations. Additionally, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities in change. Personal suitability is given great importance.
