About the role

We are looking for an interim buyer for a smaller technology company in the Värnamo region. The assignment starts shortly and is expected to last 4–6 months with a workload of approximately 75%. The role is operational in nature and involves responsibility for ongoing purchasing related to direct materials for production.

You will work closely with the operations, ensuring flows, availability, and deliveries in an environment where the products demand precision and quality. The supplier base is primarily located in Sweden and the surrounding area, although international flows with longer lead times also occur. Several supplier relationships are relatively new, meaning the role also involves follow-up and creating better structure regarding volumes and reorder points.

In addition to daily tasks, there is an opportunity to contribute improvements to purchasing processes, order handling, and planning.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in operational purchasing within manufacturing industry and are accustomed to working close to production. You feel confident in daily purchasing tasks and can quickly familiarize yourself with new flows, supplier relationships, and needs.

Your level of experience allows you to contribute to creating structure and order, even though the role is fundamentally operational. You are used to thinking one step ahead and can help improve working methods where needed.

You preferably have experience purchasing components, such as within metal, plastic, or other manufactured parts, and are comfortable communicating with suppliers. You are self-reliant, pragmatic, and thrive in an environment where not everything is finished from the start, but where you get to contribute to making processes and working methods work better.

Formal education is not decisive; we value your practical experience the most. You are fluent in Swedish and can handle English when needed.
