Now you have the opportunity for a permanent position as a personal assistant to our 12-year-old customer. He lives just outside Linköping with his family in a house with good bus connections, so a driver's license is not required. We have some expectations of you as an applicant: you must have a good heart and a passion for working with children. Employment Level: We are currently seeking hourly substitutes as needed, as well as for the summer when the regular assistants are on leave. Job Responsibilities:

• You will help and support our customer with most aspects of his daily life. This may include helping with his training, which is an important part of his life. Support and help during meal times and, above all, during his play activities.
• Outdoor activities are an important part of the customer's life, so much of your working time will be spent outdoors. Therefore, it is important to dress appropriately for the weather. You must be able to swim and join him for swimming and bathing.
• After working a wakeful night shift, you will help with morning routines and be responsible for ensuring he gets to school via the school taxi, which you will also accompany him on, ensuring he gets to school safely and securely.
• The day shift begins by meeting him at school and riding the school taxi home from school.

I am a lovely 12-year-old boy living with my mom, dad, and siblings in a house with good bus connections, so a driver's license is not a requirement. Spending time outdoors is a large and important part of my life, regardless of the weather. It makes me feel good, so you must dress appropriately for the weather when working with me. I can walk short distances if you help hold my hand, and like all 12-year-olds, I enjoy playing and having fun. You will be my extended arms and legs. I am unsteady, so I need your help with all transfers, personal hygiene, support during meals, and help during motor and communication training, as I do not communicate verbally. I have epilepsy and a self-harming behavior that you need to be aware of, and you may need a dose of patience as I sometimes make noises! I am fast and strong, so you need to be physically fit, responsive, and have a great deal of patience. If you give yourself and me the time to get to know each other, we will become a good team, and you will have a rewarding, meaningful, and fun job! Everything will be clearly explained during the introduction. The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Night shifts Sunday–Friday from 22:00–08:00 (wakeful night)
• Weekdays 13:30–21:30 + Wednesdays 12:30–21:30 and on weekends or days off 08:00–16:00 + 16:00–21:30
• When he is off school in the summer, the times may vary

(On weekdays, the evening shift starts at school, and the shift ends at school for those who worked the night.) Start date is by agreement, but the need is immediate. Before you start working independently, you will complete 5 introductory shifts where you will work alongside an experienced assistant to learn routines and get to know the boy and his family. Therefore, it is desirable if you can start the introduction as soon as possible. Are you the one we are looking for? Merits include:

• Knowledge/experience of epilepsy from before
• Any knowledge of cognitive disabilities
• Experience with individuals with self-harming behavior
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or other pedagogical work
• Swimming skills and ability to join for swimming and bathing
• Ability to accompany on short trips if needed

• You need to have BankID/mobile BankID to view the schedule and sign your time report at the end of the month.
