Job Description

We are currently looking for a Controller for a consultancy assignment within the public sector in Västra Götaland. The assignment is part-time and involves hiring through NearYou.

In this role, you will work closely with operations and be responsible for financial management, follow-up, and analysis. You will serve as a support to the operations and management in financial matters, contributing with analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of decision-making materials. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and participating in the development of routines and processes within the financial area.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in economics or finance
• Experience working as a Controller in the public sector
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
• Good knowledge of Excel and general system proficiency
• Ability to communicate financial information in a pedagogical manner
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
