Göteborg District Court is one of Sweden's largest district courts with approximately 250 employees. The court consists of six adjudicating case divisions and one administrative division. Job Description

As a legal clerk (Beredningsjurist), you will work at one of the court's six case divisions, primarily preparing dispositive civil cases. Preparation of other types of cases and matters may also occur, as well as providing legal support to the registry. The work involves making decisions during the preparation phase, conducting legal research, and to some extent presiding over oral preparatory hearings. The work also entails extensive verbal and written contact with parties and their representatives.

Qualifications

You must be qualified as a legal clerk (notarie) at a district court. You should have very good legal knowledge, primarily in civil law. Experience in legal work at another authority or in the private sector is advantageous. You must be able to work independently and result-oriented, be thorough, have a collaborative spirit, and have good verbal and written communication skills.

The district court performs one of society's most important functions, and the work must be carried out in a way that creates trust in us. This requires very good judgment and that you take responsibility for ensuring that tasks are performed with high quality. You will be a key player in a socially vital operation.

Terms of Employment

There is one position available. The position is a permanent full-time employment. The employment may begin with a six-month probationary period.
