Accounts Payable Assistant

In this role, you work with the entire Accounts Payable process with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic environment. You handle a large influx of invoices and have many internal contact points.

Responsibilities:

• Process and book supplier invoices
• Match invoices against purchase orders
• Code invoices according to current routines
• Maintain ongoing contact with internal functions and purchasing
• Handle discrepancies and investigate and troubleshoot issues
• Contribute with suggestions for improvement for more efficient working methods
• Answer incoming inquiries via the service phone

Who fits the assignment?

You have a post-secondary education in finance and approximately 1-3 years of experience, preferably within Accounts Payable. You are meticulous, responsible, and thrive in a role where you are given the initiative. To succeed, you need to be driven, solution-oriented, and able to handle a high workload. You work in a manner where every invoice is reviewed and handled individually in the system, which requires good knowledge, accuracy, and system familiarity.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. As the assignment is within the defense industry, security clearance and background checks will be conducted on final candidates.

Merits

• Experience with Agresso or similar business systems is a plus.
• Good system familiarity and knowledge of Excel is an advantage.
• Previous experience working in larger organizations with high volumes is seen as positive.
