At AME, the Employment Unit, in Tomelilla Municipality, we work with labor market and adult education issues. Our team consists of four employment coaches, coordinators, two study and career counselors for adult students, KAA case officers, study assistants at Lärcentrum, housing and integration coordinators, as well as the IRIS project.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to help people towards employment or studies and see their development up close? As an employment coach at Tomelilla Municipality, you will coach and support young people, long-term unemployed, sick leave cases, and newly arrived immigrants, collaborating with both the business community, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other actors.
Here you will:
- Guide and coach participants towards self-sufficiency according to the Supported Employment method and BIP (Back to Work)
- Build contacts with employers, create internship placements, and work towards permanent hires
- Be involved in continuing to develop working methods/structures based on upcoming activity requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are confident in yourself, flexible, non-hierarchical, and responsive to both the needs of participants and the organization. You enjoy working closely with people and have the ability to adapt your working style in everyday life to create the best possible conditions for those you meet.
You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, and if you also have knowledge of other languages, we see this as an asset.
Requirements
For the position, a post-secondary education is required, such as a degree in social work, human resources, or behavioral science. Alternatively, you have another post-secondary education that the employer assesses as relevant for the assignment.
We are looking for you who have experience in coaching and individual conversations with both adults and young people. You have good knowledge of the labor market and understanding of how other authorities, such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, work. You are confident in exercising authority and have an understanding of work in a politically governed organization.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
