We are now looking for a new colleague to join us at Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 3, Alvik.
The clinic, which is part of North Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP), is a general psychiatric clinic with a special mandate to treat anxiety and personality disorders.
We are co-located with three other clinics, meaning that secretaries from all four units share the reception staffing duties.
We are located at Alviks Torg, a bike ride from the city center. Just around the corner you will find the subway, buses, and the cross-line tram.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include administrative tasks, such as:
- Telephony and computer management in LITS
- Take Care-LSA
- EK administration
- Recording minutes and notes at meetings
- Handling invoices and documentation in the financial systems Raindance and Clockwork
- Personnel administration in Heroma
You will also assist with reception duties and medical record writing.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have education and several years of experience as a medical secretary, preferably in the public sector. Experience in psychiatry and with the medical record system TakeCare is meritorious.
You must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as very good computer skills. Very good knowledge of Windows programs is required.
As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, helpful, and able to step in where needed. You have excellent teamwork skills while also being able to work independently and drive your work forward. You enjoy providing good service to both colleagues and patients, and feel comfortable in patient interactions, both in the reception and over the phone. You are curious, enjoy learning new things, and contribute to a good atmosphere at the clinic.
Personal Attributes
The work requires that you have a good manner, are service-oriented, detail-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you need the ability to plan, structure, and organize work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
