RESPONSIBILITIES

The Language Centre consists of two units: The Native Language Unit and The Reception Unit. In this position, you will work as a native language teacher and study counselor within the Language Centre's organization, which involves working at several schools.

The work includes:

• Teaching in the native language and study counseling
• Working at several schools within the municipality
• Remote teaching when necessary
• Teaching in the elective language North Sami when necessary

You are part of a team working to strengthen students' multilingualism and contribute to their knowledge development through native language instruction and study counseling.

Start date: According to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with a focus on the subject of Sami. It is desirable that you have teaching experience. We see that you function well in interaction with students and colleagues. You are independent, proactive, and goal-oriented. You see collegial learning as a prerequisite for student development and look forward to working together in teams, towards common goals, and with a focus on the students. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
