MM Sports continues its growth journey and is now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for accounting while helping to build structure, quality, and insight in a business where pace and development go hand in hand.

About the role

As Finance Manager at MM Sports, you have overall responsibility for the group accounting and ensure that reporting is accurate, high-quality, and closely aligned with business operations. The role is both operational and analytical, focusing on monthly and annual financial statements, consolidation, and continuous improvement work.

You work closely with the CFO and are supported by an accounting economist who handles a large part of the daily bookkeeping. The role involves broad contact areas, including with owners, banks, and external collaboration partners. You are also expected to drive the development of processes, systems, and internal controls, and contribute with analyses that support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct accounting and fair reporting in the group
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and be responsible for group reporting
• Handle taxes, declarations, and post-closing adjustments for the group's companies
• Perform analyses of key figures, margins, and costs
• Provide decision support to management and operations
• Drive improvement work within processes, routines, and internal controls
• Participate in development projects related to digitalization and systems

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic education in economics or accounting and at least five years of experience in qualified accounting. You are confident in the entire accounting chain and have independently prepared annual financial statements. You also have experience with inventory accounting, preferably from e-commerce companies. You are proficient in working with modern financial systems; experience with Business Central and Power BI is a plus.

You are communicative and proficient in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. To thrive in this role, you need to be driven, proactive, and forward-looking, with the ability to deliver operationally while contributing to structure, quality, and improvements. You enjoy working independently but are also a team player who contributes to a positive work environment. Your attention to detail and analytical skills enable you to handle complex financial issues and drive improvement initiatives forward.
