About the North-Eastern Preschool Area

The North-Eastern Preschool Area comprises 13 preschools and is the largest geographical preschool area in Gävle Municipality. We work for and prioritize equality in our area, and the preschools collaborate in various quality networks. Common to the area are our prioritized goal areas - pedagogical actions and pedagogical environments in a thematic and process-oriented approach. Each professional role has a clear task and responsibility, and there is a structure for systematic quality work, which provides good prerequisites for the work. We actively work with preventive occupational health and safety efforts, for example through relaxation and quiet rooms, to create a sustainable working environment for you as an employee. About the Position

We are looking for preschool assistants (barnskötare) for several preschools in the north-eastern area. The staff group at Lindbacka works in larger teams and rotates positions during the day. This is to enable the children to meet more adults, explore, be challenged, and develop in different ways.

4 positions available.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged preschool assistant who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational daily life for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about creating good relationships.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working together with your colleagues to be responsible for the pedagogical work with children aged 1-5 years.
• Constantly working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges children to play, activities, and learning.
• Assisting with planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the activity according to decided goals and guidelines.
• Working towards a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning.

Qualifications

You are a structured and confident preschool assistant with the child in focus. We are looking for you who:

• Have completed a high school education.
• Are trained as a preschool assistant (barnskötare).
• Are familiar with the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents.
• Have good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record for work within school or preschool.

• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Working hours: Daytime.
