Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Law on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Wish to work for a woman in her 30s residing in Järvsö
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Hold a manual category B driver's license and have access to your own car
• Are non-smoking during working hours

The following qualifications are considered meritorious:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or in another healthcare role
• Experience with mobility aids
• Experience with feeding tubes (PEG)
• Experience with respiratory aids (PEP Mask & inhaler)
• Share the client's interests, such as music, films, and series

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

We are looking for individuals for two different positions. The first current form of employment is "for as long as the assignment lasts" with a scheduled shift covering slightly over 85% of a full-time position.

The second current form of employment is a "hourly position," which implies work on an as-needed basis as well as during the summer weeks 26-34 with an employment degree of 75-100%.

Working hours vary during the day, evening, and/or night, either 07:00-15:00, 07:00-19:00, 16:00-22:00, or 21:30-07:00, with active time around the clock.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date for the "for as long as the assignment lasts" position is week 23, and an introduction will take place prior to this. Start date for the summer temporary position is week 26, and an introduction will take place prior to this.
