Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You uphold the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following:

• Wish to work for a woman in her 30s living in Järvsö
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Hold a manual B-driver's license and have access to your own car
• Are non-smoking during working hours

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience working as a personal assistant or in another healthcare profession
• Have experience with mobility aids
• Have experience with Sond (PEG)
• Have experience with Breathing aids (PEP Mask & inhaler)
• Share the client's interests such as music, films, and series

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

We are looking for people for two different positions. The first current form of employment is "as long as the assignment lasts" with a scheduled shift with an employment degree of just over 85%.

The second current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand as well as during the summer weeks 26-34 with an employment degree of 75-100%.

There are varying working hours during the day, evening, and/or night, either 07:00-15:00, 07:00-19:00, 16:00-22:00, or 21:30-07:00, active time around the clock.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date for "as long as the assignment lasts" employment is week 23, and an introduction is conducted before that. Start date for the summer vacation substitute is week 26, and an introduction is conducted before that.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents that prove the right to work in Sweden. To be able to work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
