Sjöarp Group Housing is tasked with meeting the member municipalities' needs for placements for adults with autism and complex needs. Sjöarp offers integrated housing with day activities in a calm and secure environment just outside Bräkne-Hoby.

Sjöarp Group Housing has a total of 13 residential places distributed across 5 housing units. The target group is varied. Some residents have greater care needs, while others may have high-functioning autism.

We are now looking for some substitutes for the summer holiday periods: Period 1 weeks 26-29 and Period 2 weeks 30-33. Please state in your application which periods you are interested in or if you wish to work both periods.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

As a therapist/caregiver, you support the client with personal care and a meaningful daily life and leisure time. You follow the client throughout the day, including in day activities where the engagement is adapted to the client's own needs and conditions.

To create security for the clients, we use clarifying pedagogy, which originates from TEACCH pedagogy, as well as low-affective interaction and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have or be undergoing some form of relevant post-secondary education in behavioral science, social work, or pedagogy, or alternatively a relevant upper secondary education such as care and nursing or child and youth work with a focus on pedagogical and social work. Experience in similar work is meritorious. Experience in meeting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF), self-harm behavior, and aggressive behavior is also positive.

The job places high demands on you having a secure and calm demeanor and good collaboration skills. Quality assurance work and documentation require that you can communicate clearly in speech and writing and are computer literate.

You must have a Category B driver's license (manual transmission) and a clean police certificate of good conduct.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Summer job / Holiday employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
Working hours: Schedule. Work every third weekend, possibly on-call. Also some night shifts.
