At Erikslund Adapted Primary School, we welcome students from grades 1–9 from all over Borås every day. We engage in extensive collaborations with the municipality's association life and strive to provide our students with an experience-rich school education on their own terms. Well-structured teaching and trust in the students' inherent will and ability to learn are our starting points. The school also offers a leisure center (KTS) for all our students.

We are now moving into Borås City's newest school. This means we are moving into completely new premises with excellent conditions for conducting teaching in adapted primary education. Together with your colleagues, you will now have the chance to help build the operations to make them the best they can be.

You will work as a class teacher at Erikslund Adapted Primary School, where we have students from grades 1–9. At Erikslund Adapted Primary School, we strive for differentiated teaching that allows all students to succeed in their learning, which places demands on you as a teacher to meet the students with a listening, structured, and low-affective approach.

In each class, there is a teaching teacher as well as additional resources in the form of student assistants, support pedagogues, and activation pedagogues. As a class teacher, you are ultimately responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching at both group and individual levels based on the students' needs and prerequisites.

Together with your colleagues in the class team, you drive and develop the work so that it benefits all students. You establish clear goals and plan teaching systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed, follow up on results, and view documentation and assessment of the students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work.

You are a certified teacher for primary school. We would prefer that, in addition to your teaching certification, you are educated as a special needs teacher with a focus on intellectual disability.

If you have previously worked as a teacher in grades 1–3 or 4–6 in primary school, or have experience working as a class teacher or special needs teacher in adapted primary school, this is considered an advantage.

You have knowledge and work experience regarding intellectual disabilities as well as experience with children with neuropsychiatric functional variations.

Your approach is that children do right if they can, and you adapt your interaction and communication to create conditions for students to interpret different situations and contexts. As a person, you are calm, meet students with a low-affective approach, and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.

You have good collaboration skills and are good at creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge about literacy acquisition and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). You are well acquainted with the curriculum and other regulatory documents.
